Must Do´s Summer

Leaving the village Silbertal you follow the "Wilden Litz" through the wild and romantic landscape of the Silbertal. After about 1 hour of easy walking and esperiencing the breathtaking nature you will reach our Fellimännle alpine hut, where you can enjoy the excellent Kaiserschmarren of our chef Lukas in an incomparable atmosphere.

For our guests who are enthusiastic about hunting and nature we offer a very special experience: On request, the host family will be happy to take you on a deer-stalking expedition in our 1400 ha hunting area. The family, who are experienced hunters, will be happy to answer any questions you may have about hunting itself and the surrounding area.

Various hiking possibilities for young and old open up in the area of our local mountain, the "Hochjoch". At the Kreuzjoch, the hospitality of the Wormser Hut awaits you after every activity. In addition to the various choices on the map, a regionally famous apple strudel awaits you here with a breathtaking view to sweeten your day.

Boredom is not an option for you?
Apart from the countless, obligatory hiking trails, there are numerous opportunities to do this on the Bewegungsberg Golm - and for the whole family! Starting with the Waldrutschenpark, which shortens the descent from Matschwitz to Latschau with 7 different slides, the trail leads to Latschau to the Waldseilpark. Here you can try out climbing routes of various difficulties. The highlight is the 565-metre long Flying Fox over the reservoir. To finish off perfectly, the all-weather Alpine Coaster leads from Latschau to Vandans - over 2,400 metres you race downhill with spectacular sections and up to 40 km/h to finish an exciting day worth remembering.

Whether you are a passionate golfer or interested newcomer - you are most welcome at the Montafon Golf Course, which is in the direct vicinity of the hotel! From a simple green fee to beginner's courses or training for the license to play, the attractive 9-hole course has everything you need. As a small tip from the house: If you stay longer than 5 nights you get the green fee for free from us!

This tour contains everything that makes the biker's heart beat faster: Starting with a leisurely start along the Ill, the tour continues with an ascent from St.Anton via the Bartholomaeberg to the idyllic Fritzensee. With slight ups and downs in the direction of the Wasserstubental you can enjoy the fantastic Kristberg panorama. The last stage leads you through the Silbertal valley down to the starting point. The entire route takes you about 45 km with 1,200 meters altitude distance through the Montafon.

Along two beautiful waterfalls, this via ferrata close to the valley invites you to take a short break and enjoy the fantastic view over St. Anton and Vandans. While the via ferrata runs right next to the first waterfall, the second one is spanned by rope bridges, so that you can cross it directly above the thunderous floods. The level of the via ferrata is advertised as "medium", with the difficulty increasing towards the top.

With 22.3 km of track, 34 hairpin bends and a pass height of 2,032 metres, the Silvrettastrasse stretches from Partenen in the Montafon to Galtür in the Paznaun valley (Tyrol). The spectacular mountain scenery and the lakes Vermunt and Silvretta, which lie directly on the wayside, cast a spell on motorcyclists, car drivers and cyclists alike. Visitors without a vehicle also get their money's worth here in a variety of ways.

High above Partenen there is a unique moor complex in a wild and romantic mountain landscape - the European nature reserve Wiegensee. Here you can explore the rare moors, biotopes and the oldest, naturally formed reservoir in the Montafon. This excursion destination can be perfectly combined with a ride on the high alpine road or an extended hike to the Kopssee.

Our leisure walk starts through the centre of Schruns to the Gauenstein Monastery. Follow the Montjola into the first bend and from there turn left onto the Broxweg directly to the monastery. Enjoy the quiet atmosphere and take a stroll through the beautiful garden of the monastery.
